On December 3, information from Pu Hu Nature Reserve, Thanh Hoa province, through camera traps, the unit's functional forces recorded many rare wild animals in the reserve.
Accordingly, after setting camera traps from 2023 to present, Pu Hu Nature Reserve has recorded many rare wildlife species such as black bears, wild cats, common muntjacs, silver-cheeked ferrets, yellow-throated ferrets, jungle fowls, golden-crowned chickens, pig badgers, etc.

Notably, the recorded images show many wild animals traveling in herds or pairs such as wild cats, bears, deer, wild boars, etc.
According to Pu Hu Nature Reserve, this is the first time there are specific images of the appearance of many rare animal species, instead of previously only recording traces.

Pu Hu Nature Reserve covers an area of over 24,000 hectares, located in Quan Hoa and Muong Lat districts (Thanh Hoa). This place has a diversity of ecosystems, habitats and species of flora and fauna.
According to the investigation results, Pu Hu Nature Reserve has 915 animal species, of which more than 30 rare animal species are listed in the Vietnam and World Red Book.
