On the afternoon of March 17, in Hanoi, the Military Medical Academy and Military Hospital 175 held a conference to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Director of the Military Medical Academy and Major General, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet, Party Committee Secretary, Director of Military Hospital 175 co-chaired the Conference.
Attending the Conference were Colonel, Dr. Tran Duy Hung, Deputy Director of the Military Medical Department - General Department of Logistics; on the side of the Military Medical Academy, there were comrades: Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nghiem Duc Thuan, Political Commissar of the Academy; Major General Tran Minh Phong, Deputy Director of the Academy; Major General, Professor, Dr. Tran Viet Tien, Director of Military Hospital 103, Major General, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Nhu Lam, Director of Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital; Colonel, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Director of the Southern Branch; representatives of leaders and commanders of affiliated agencies and units.
On the side of Military Hospital 175, there were comrades: Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Former Director of the Hospital; Deputy Directors of the Hospital: Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Dinh Cam, Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Bui Duc Thanh and delegates leading and commanding the affiliated agencies and units.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Director of the Military Medical Academy, expressed his deep affection for the enthusiasm and dedication of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Military Hospital 175. The Director of the Military Medical Academy also affirmed that throughout the history of development and growth, the two units have had effective connections, coordination and support in many fields, contributing positively to the development of medicine in general and the Military Medical sector in particular, especially contributing significantly to the cause of training high-quality medical staff. He believes that, promoting the heroic tradition of the two units, after this Conference, the solidarity, cohesion and effective cooperation will be strengthened to a new level, making the relationship between doctors and teachers more closely connected, contributing to improving the quality of training, scientific research, and developing high-quality human resources for the Army and the health sector.
Major General, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet, Party Committee Secretary and Director of Military Hospital 175, said that the hospital is striving to become a multi-functional, modern, and professional medical complex. The cooperation with the Military Medical Academy of Military Hospital 175 is very important in the current context of medical human resource training, demonstrating the hospital's determination to expand and optimize cooperation in a comprehensive and in-depth manner.
At the Conference, the two sides agreed and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with the following basic contents: Cooperation in training, cooperation in scientific research and cooperation in medical examination and treatment. The two sides will cooperate to build and develop a team of doctors; improve the quality of training, scientific research, and develop technical expertise in medical examination and treatment to serve the cause of protecting and caring for the health of soldiers and people./.
