The 27th thematic session of the People's Council of Van Don district, term XX, 2021

On the afternoon of February 27, Van Don District People's Council held the 27th thematic session of the 20th District People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

At the meeting, the District People's Council reviewed and discussed the reports, proposals, and draft resolutions submitted by the District People's Committee, committees of the District People's Council, and relevant agencies, focusing on: Proposal on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee; Proposal on adjusting the economic growth target for 2025; Report on examining the draft Resolution on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Van Don District People's Committee; Report on examining the draft Resolution on adjusting the economic growth target for 2025; Proposal on personnel work under authority.

At the meeting, the delegates of the People's Council of Van Don district, term XX, 2021-2026, voted to elect the position of Head of the Economic - Social Committee for Ms. Truong Thi Thuy Huyen, member of the District Party Committee, delegate of the People's Council of Van Don district, term XX, 2021-2026, with a result of 100%.

After half a day of active, responsible, democratic and scientific work, with careful preparation by relevant agencies and explanations from sectors to be submitted to the meeting, the District People's Council reviewed and unanimously approved 5 important Resolutions including: Resolution on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Van Don district; Resolution on adjusting the economic growth target in 2025 of Van Don district; Resolution on confirming the results of the dismissal of the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Don district, term XX, 2021 - 2026; Resolution on confirming the results of the dismissal of members of the People's Committee of Van Don district, term XX, 2021 - 2026; Resolution on confirming the results of the election of the position of Head of the Economic - Social Committee, People's Council of Van Don district, term XX, 2021 - 2026.

In his closing speech, Comrade To Van Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Council, highly appreciated the active participation, intelligence and enthusiasm of the People's Council delegates. He assigned relevant levels and sectors to complete the program content of this session to organize implementation, effectively promote resources, and contribute to the successful implementation of the set tasks and goals.
