The highlight of the event series is the webinar with the theme "Changing the media environment with AI in Vietnam". The event attracted the participation of experts in the fields of technology and media of the two countries.
At the webinar, Mr. Kim Do Yeon, CEO of Tech Valley, shared about prominent AI media startups in Vietnam that are attracting attention and AI trends in each Vietnamese industry.
In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Yen, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economic Research under the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications, analyzed the current situation and challenges of the Vietnamese media industry in the digital transformation process.
Coming from Hanteo Global - a company specializing in Korean music charts, CEO Kwak Young Ho gave a speech on the topic "How Korea's leading music chart company applies AI in the music industry"
In parallel with the webinar, the online Biz-matching workshop took place on August 13 and 14, gathering about 40 content businesses from Vietnam and Korea to participate. More than 50 business consulting sessions took place at the workshop.
Sharing at the workshop, Mr. Seong Im Kyong, Director of KOCCA Vietnam expressed his hope: “By sharing information on how AI trends around the world are being applied in Vietnam, this webinar and online biz-matching workshop will provide accurate information for Korean businesses wishing to enter the Vietnamese market and at the same time, the event also opens up cooperation opportunities for Vietnamese businesses interested in the Korean content field”.
It is known that KOCCA Vietnam is actively preparing for the next webinar events on the topics of "Webtoon" in September and "Music" in October, along with online Biz-matching showcases and seminars of related businesses as well as online biz-matching seminars.
In particular, the "2024 Korea-Vietnam Iconic Character Business Cooperation Festival" will be held in Binh Duong from October 3 to 5, promising to bring many opportunities for exchange and cooperation for businesses of the two countries.
KOCCA's Biz-matching webinar and seminar series has successfully concluded, marking a new step forward in content cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.
