Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Dinh Truong Thinh, the Commander of the 16th Air Defense Company, gave the order to concentrate the unit. He learned from the experience of the batteries that had just practiced some limitations, such as choosing the right time to destroy the target; the shooting movements and choosing the target to destroy according to the given situation were not effective.

Having said that, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Dinh Truong Thinh demonstrated the movements of the gunners, pointed out common points of attention and skillfully told the battle strategy of July 30, 1970 at Co Pung Mountain, West of Thua Thien Hue Province of Company 3, Air Defense Battalion 54, Division 324. In that battle, the 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun team led by soldier Dang Tho Truat as the number 1 gunner destroyed 13 enemy planes in 30 minutes. Through this strategy, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Dinh Truong Thinh drew experience for the whole unit, which is to perform the shooting movement at the right time and choose the right target to destroy.

As soon as Mr. Thinh's story ended, the training atmosphere of the unit seemed to become more exciting. Private First Class Le Phu Bao, Gunner No. 1, Battery 1, Platoon 1 said: "During the training process, the contents and subjects were told by officers at all levels about the combat tactics and experiences drawn from reality, which helped us gradually overcome common limitations. At the same time, through the stories and combat tactics, not only did we supplement our knowledge in training, but the heroic examples of previous generations became the motivation for all soldiers to actively practice well, practice seriously, and be worthy of the title of Uncle Ho's soldiers."

At the training area for the loading movement of Company 15, observing Sergeant Nguyen Huu Ngo, Gunner No. 3, Battery 1, loading the bullets incorrectly, Lieutenant Nguyen Khuong Tuan, Company Commander, directly demonstrated for the soldiers to observe. While practicing the movement, pointing out the technical weaknesses and weaknesses of Sergeant Nguyen Huu Ngo's loading movement, Lieutenant Nguyen Khuong Tuan recounted the unit's experience in destroying the target during the 2018 Quang Tri Province regional exercise. That time, due to the loader's weak mentality, the movement of loading the bullet into the barrel was not accurate, so the mission was not completed. The unit promptly replaced Gunner No. 3 and as a result, the following series of shots all destroyed the target on the first shot.

Arriving at the training area of ​​the topic "Infantry Battalion attacking airborne enemy" of Battalion 5, after each exercise, the unit will draw lessons from the remaining limitations before proceeding to the next exercise. It is known that this year, Battalion 5 will practice the topic "Infantry Battalion reinforced with technical weapons to attack airborne enemy" in the defense area exercise with Quang Tri province, so the unit's training process focuses on practicing the content close to reality and content requirements. Accordingly, movements such as maneuvering on the sandbank to calculating the amount of wind to destroy targets at sea... are all enthusiastically guided by the staff, imparting experience to the troops.
