Representatives of the Provincial Business Association presented houses of gratitude to the poor in Nam Thanh ward, Dien Bien Phu city.

Mr. Bui Duc Giang, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Enterprises, said: As a focal point, gathering businesses, the Provincial Association of Enterprises regularly propagates and encourages members to build ethical standards and corporate culture; cares about workers and is responsible to society, accompanies the government in implementing programs and policies to ensure social security. Social security support activities are deployed with many rich and diverse contents and forms. Implementing the annual program, the Association and member businesses organize the donation of nearly 30,000 warm clothes to children in difficult circumstances, in remote areas in the province; donated nearly 7,000 gifts to disabled children, orphans, and families in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, Children's Day June 1, traditional Tet... Thereby, contributing to encouraging and motivating poor children and poor households to have more determination to excel in studying, working, and building their homeland. Responding to the call for support for the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic of the Fatherland Front, the Association called for the spirit of support from its members, the amount of support up to nearly 5 billion VND including: Support for the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund; support for medical supplies, food, necessities for epidemic prevention and control and people who are being quarantined at medical facilities, concentrated quarantine areas; support for doctors and nurses to go to Binh Duong to fight the epidemic...

Towards the poor, children and people in mountainous and ethnic minority areas, from 2018 to present, the Provincial Association of Social Enterprises has called on member enterprises to support the construction of 3 commune and ward cultural houses; 5 meeting rooms and 12 gratitude houses; support 20 sets of computers for students; support electricity lines for lighting in mountainous and remote areas with a total value of nearly 20 billion VND. The member enterprises of the Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises also actively participate in supporting major programs and events of the province such as: Hoa Ban Festival, Boat Racing Festival, fireworks display on the occasion of Lunar New Year... Typical enterprises include: Dien Bien Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Dien Bien Petroleum Company, Dien Bien Electricity Company, Construction and Trading Company No. 6, Hoa Ba Education and Trade Services Company Limited, Truong Thinh Joint Stock Company... Through social security activities, they not only contribute to sharing difficulties, encouraging the poor and policy beneficiaries to rise up, but also spread the spirit of responsibility to the social community widely in the business sector.

In order to continue to participate promptly and effectively in social security work in the coming time, the Provincial Association of Enterprises will closely follow the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and the province's policies on social security work, for the community's life to propagate and disseminate to member enterprises. At the same time, continue to promote the role of a bridge between enterprises and the government to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles to help enterprises develop production and business. Thereby contributing to promoting socio-economic development, creating resources to contribute to the good implementation of social security work in the locality, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas with the motto "Business associated with social responsibility".
