This morning, November 2, Lac Son Residential Area, Gio Son Commune, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province organized the "National Great Unity Day" and "Military-Civilian Cultural Day" to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day, November 18 (1930 - 2024). Lac Son residential area currently has 131 households and 576 people. In recent years, the great solidarity bloc of the people in the residential area has been consolidated and strengthened, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved and enhanced; the people's mastery has been promoted in all areas of social life. The combined strength of the great solidarity bloc of the people and the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns have had a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the residential area.
The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction; people of all walks of life have enthusiastically competed to develop the economy, enrich themselves and their homeland. Cultural, artistic, and sports movements have received due attention. In 2024, the residential area had 128 households recognized as cultural families. The movement to encourage learning, encourage talents, and build a learning community has been effectively implemented; people's health care has received attention.
Movements and activities to show gratitude, care for families with meritorious services, people with revolutionary contributions, people in difficult circumstances, etc. have been effectively implemented. National defense and security have been maintained; Party building and political system building have been strengthened. People's lives have been increasingly improved, with an estimated average income per capita in 2024 of 49.6 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate according to multidimensional criteria is 3.05%.

Speaking at the festival, Gio Linh District Party Secretary Le Tien Dung highly appreciated and commended the achievements of Lac Son residential area in recent times, in which he was impressed by the achievements in the fields of economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; building cultural life in residential areas, developing sports movements, building new rural areas, maintaining security and order...
To promote and arouse the tradition of national solidarity, Gio Linh District Party Secretary Le Tien Dung requested the leaders of Gio Son commune to come to the Front's working committee to continue to promote the propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to the people for effective implementation; promote the consolidation and expansion of the great national solidarity bloc, enhance social consensus; encourage, motivate and support the people to compete in economic development, build a prosperous and happy life.
Focus on implementing the movement of building cultural families and sports movements to improve people's spiritual life and health; continue to promote the movement of building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas and building Lac Son residential area to develop civilized, rich and beautiful, becoming a livable countryside.
