Not Phu Quoc, this is the destination chosen most by Vietnamese tourists this summer.

A survey recently released by Booking shows that Da Nang is the destination most searched and booked by Vietnamese tourists from June 15 to August 15.

Domestic destinations chosen by Vietnamese tourists for their summer vacation after Da Nang include Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Hoi An, Hanoi, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc, Ha Long and Quy Nhon. There are up to 7 beach destinations in the list of 10 cities attracting the most attention from tourists in the summer of 2024.

Domestic tourist trends have also changed, as shown by the fact that 57% of respondents want to return to nature, 48% choose to experience local culture, 45% travel to the sea and 36% travel to big cities.

Booking also announced other choices for different types of guests. For example, the top 5 domestic and international destinations chosen by most Vietnamese solo travelers include: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi, Da Lat, Nha Trang and Bangkok, Tokyo, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Paris.

The top 5 destinations chosen by family groups include Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City and abroad include Singapore, Paris, Bangkok, London, Sydney.

Top 5 destinations for couples: Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Hoi An and abroad are Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur.

The most searched international destinations by Vietnamese tourists during the summer are still Bangkok, followed by Singapore, Tokyo, Paris, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, London, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
