Not 'company S', this is the unit that claims lifetime warranty for screen stripes

"Green stripes" or "screen stripes" are keywords that haunt users of OLED smartphones, and are a phenomenon that appears on many phone brands, not just OnePlus.

However, recently, the Chinese smartphone company has decided that letting users live with this worry is not good, and has launched the "Green Line Worry-Free Solution" program.

The company aims to solve this display problem in three steps, one of which includes providing “unparalleled” display technology.

OnePlus'

OnePlus' "no green stripe" solution consists of three main steps: More durable screen technology, strict quality control, and lifetime warranty.

OnePlus says the AMOLED displays its phones use will feature an “Advanced Bonding Layer.” The company explains that this layer uses a PVX edgeband material that acts as a barrier. This barrier reduces moisture and oxygen ingress, which should extend the life of the display.

Next, the company says it conducts rigorous quality checks on the AMOLED displays that come with OnePlus phones. There are over 180 tests that are said to simulate harsh real-world conditions. With these tests, the brand aims to reduce the risk of green line issues to the “lowest in the industry.”

Finally, OnePlus announced that it will offer a lifetime warranty on all of its smartphones, including older models, for green line issues. That means that even if the phone is out of its regular warranty, users will still be eligible for a screen replacement if green lines appear on the screen.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time OnePlus has offered a practical solution to the green line issue. The company previously offered coupons to some users in India who were affected by the display issue. However, if the company sticks to its latest statement, OnePlus users around the world really don’t need to worry about this issue.
