Prosecution of former district vice chairman and 2 officials in Hai Phong for land violations

On the afternoon of May 19, VTC News reported that the leader of Thuy Nguyen district informed that the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Phong City Police had issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong) and 2 others for the crime of "Violating regulations on land management", which occurred in Thuy Nguyen district 5 years ago.

The defendants include: Bui Doan Nhan - former member of the District Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen District; Vu Dinh Trung - officer of the Office of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen District and Dao Van Bac - officer of the Minerals Department (Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hai Phong City).

The roadside land in Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong) was legalized by officials, leading to violations.

The leader of Thuy Nguyen district added that at the time of his prosecution, Mr. Bui Doan Nhan had been retired for 3 years. All 3 defendants were released on bail and were prohibited from leaving their place of residence. The defendants have been and are being handled by the Party and the government.
