On January 1, the Investigation Police Agency of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Phan Thi Ngoc Anh (27 years old, residing in Binh Ba Commune, Chau Duc District) to investigate and clarify the act of murder.
According to initial information, Anh and Mr. NTT (30 years old, living in Da Bac commune, Chau Duc district) fell in love and rented a room together, living together in Ngai Giao town, Chau Duc district.

At around 4:30 p.m. on December 30, the two were drinking together in the room when a conflict arose, leading to an argument.
At this time, Anh took a knife and stabbed her lover in the chest. Seeing blood flowing, Anh ran outside and asked people around to take the victim to the emergency room. However, Mr. T. died at the scene.
Anh stayed in the rented room with Mr. T's body until the police arrived to arrest him. According to the autopsy results, Mr. T. was stabbed in the heart.
