Inspiring creativity and scientific research in youth

On the afternoon of May 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology held a conference to summarize the joint cooperation program between the two units for the period 2019 - 2022, to evaluate activities to support scientific research and innovation for students and youth in the city.

Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology signed a joint agreement on promoting and developing scientific research and innovation activities in the period of 2023-2025.

Specifically, in the period of 2019 - 2022, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology to organize many activities to support the promotion of scientific research, innovation movements, transfer and application of scientific and technological advances, such as: the Youth Science and Technology Incubator Program, organizing young science seminars , the Euréka Student Science Research Award, the International Student Science Forum, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest... attracting hundreds of thousands of students and young scientists to participate.

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Phan Thi Thanh Phuong said that in recent years, creative activities and scientific research have nurtured and nurtured many young talents and young scientists and continued to expand and develop strongly. Through the movements, it has helped to inspire and arouse the passion for creativity in the city's youth and children, nurturing young scientists to become leading experts and scientists in many fields. It can be said that this is a constant source of motivation to promote the will, demonstrate the dynamism and creativity of the city's youth.

At the ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology also performed a joint signing ceremony on promoting and developing scientific research and innovation activities in the period of 2023 - 2025. At the same time, they proposed directions for coordinating activities in the coming time and commending and rewarding collectives and individuals with many contributions to the city.
