Dr. Hoang Ai Phuong shares on the topic of Digital Transformation in Healthcare

To achieve this dream, every citizen needs to become a digital citizen who is capable of working and entertaining in the digital space, dares to connect boldly and is proficient in using online services. The workshop emphasized the important role of health communication in spreading the right messages to change perceptions and behaviors. Health professionals need to be confident in front of the camera, create useful content, communicate appropriately and protect personal information and mental health. Essential digital skills include protecting personal devices and data, interacting safely in the digital environment, and creating and managing digital content.

During the conference, many opinions from the participants themselves were expressed based on their own perspectives. Dr. Bui Tien Dung, Head of the Department of Cardiology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, expressed his concern that participating in social networks could face scrutiny and unsympathetic comments that doctors do not care about their expertise but instead go online to show off. Another medical facility manager questioned: "If doctors become famous and then leave, will the hospital suffer losses?"

Many practical contents about medical communication were shared in the workshop.

Faced with these concerns, MSc. Nam Phuong emphasized the role of medical facilities and individual doctors when participating in the media network is to become experts in society to "shape" the flow of information and contribute to protecting public health. Medical talents, no matter where they work, are serving society, so leaders of medical facilities should be open to investing in potential medical personnel to become social influencers. And such talent incubation units will have greater brand influence than other places.

Pharmacist Nguyen Ngoc Ut, with many years of experience in the field of digital communications, also shared his support for the initiative of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City in building and developing communication skills for medical professionals to create social influence, hoping that medical professionals can overcome the initial difficult period by creating short videos, gradually balancing the amount of unorthodox videos on the internet.
