The project covers an area of nearly 1 hectare, with a total investment of over 70 billion VND, invested by the Northern Power Corporation and assigned to the Power Grid Project Management Board to directly manage and operate the project. The project scale includes an operator house, 2 40MVA transformers, and 50m of 110kV line.
The transformer station is invested in construction to ensure the criteria of a digital transformer station, equipped with a modern system, collecting, monitoring, measuring and remote control, surveillance camera system, automatic fire prevention and fighting, the transformer station is connected to the Remote Control Center, Tuyen Quang Electricity Company.
The project is expected to be completed in June 2024 and is also the first 110kV digital transformer station in the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces, managed and operated by Tuyen Quang Electricity Company.
The completion of the project will contribute to improving transmission capacity, meeting the demand for load development, strengthening grid connectivity, and improving the reliability of power supply in My Lam tourist area and part of Tuyen Quang city.
