Groundbreaking ceremony for new TT-400 ship No. 10 of Vietnam Coast Guard

On January 26, in Hai Phong city, Hong Ha Shipbuilding One Member Limited Liability Company held the keel-laying ceremony for high-speed patrol boat TT-400, number 10 of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Ho Quang Tuan - Director of the General Department of Defense Industry; Major General Le Quang Dao - Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard; Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai - Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Tuan - Director of Hong Ha Shipbuilding One Member Limited Liability Company and Heads of relevant agencies and units.

Through actual exploitation and use, the TT-400 series of ships has promoted its combat and technical features well, effectively performing the tasks of patrolling, enforcing the law at sea and protecting sovereignty, sovereign rights, national jurisdiction, and national security in Vietnam's sea areas. The implementation of the project to build 10 new high-speed patrol ships TT-400 continues to demonstrate the attention and facilitation of the Party, State, and Ministry of National Defense for the Coast Guard, as well as the trust of the Vietnam Coast Guard in the TT-400 series of ships.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Head of the Coast Guard Command, Major General Le Quang Dao - Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard praised the efforts and careful preparation of Hong Ha Shipbuilding One Member Limited Liability Company and the close coordination between the Coast Guard Command, the Naval Technical Institute, the Naval Register Office, and the supervising consultant unit that helped the groundbreaking ceremony of the new TT-400 ship No. 10 to take place as planned.

In order to complete the project on schedule and ensure quality, the Commander of the Coast Guard requested that Hong Ha Shipbuilding One Member Limited Liability Company consider this an important political task; regularly coordinate closely with the permanent agency of the Investor (the Coast Guard Shipbuilding Project Management Subcommittee), the Construction Supervision Consultant unit... to build the ship according to the design, the correct type of materials, equipment and configuration, and approved technical and tactical features; properly implement the coordination commitment between the Coast Guard Command and the Factory.

The Commander of the Coast Guard believes that with its traditional achievements, capacity, brand as well as production experience, Hong Ha Shipbuilding One Member Limited Liability Company and its partners will carry out strict construction, ensuring quality, industrial aesthetics, safety, efficiency, savings and quickly hand over to the Coast Guard Command for exploitation and use.
