Since the beginning of the year, EVNCPC has started 7 projects and energized 9 projects in the provinces and cities of the Central and Central Highlands regions. It is expected that in December, EVNCPC will continue to start 2 projects and energize 5 projects.
Specifically, EVNCPC has started the projects: Upgrading the capacity of the 110 kV Tu Nghia transformer station (Quang Ngai); 110 kV Phong Dien Industrial Park transformer station and connection (Thua Thien Hue); Upgrading the cross-section of the 110 kV line of the 220 kV Quang Ngai - Nui But transformer station (Quang Ngai); Installing transformer T2 of the 110 kV Dak R'Lap 2 transformer station (Dak Nong); Upgrading the capacity of the 110 kV Nhon Tan transformer station (Binh Dinh); 110 kV line of the 220 kV Phuoc An - Don Pho switching station (Binh Dinh); and the 110 kV Cat Nhon transformer station and connection (Binh Dinh).
In December 2024, EVNCPC will start the remaining two projects: the 110 kV connection project after the 220 kV Chan May substation (Thua Thien Hue) and the capacity upgrade of the 110 kV Ky Ha substation (Quang Nam).
For projects energized in 2024, EVNCPC will complete energizing 14 110 kV projects, exceeding 3 projects compared to the plan assigned by EVN.
Specifically, by early December, 9 projects had been energized, including: Chi Lang - Hai Chau 110 kV line (Da Nang city); My Khe 110 kV substation and connection (Quang Ngai); installation of T2 transformer at Krong Nang 110 kV substation (Dak Lak); installation of T2 transformer at Krong No 110 kV substation (Dak Nong); increasing capacity and completing the diagram of Bac Dong Hoi 110 kV substation (Quang Binh); increasing capacity at Tu Nghia 110 kV substation (Quang Ngai); Bao Ninh 110 kV substation and connection (Quang Binh); Phong Dien Industrial Park 110 kV substation and connection (Thua Thien Hue) and Quy Nhon Port 110 kV substation and connection project (Binh Dinh).
Five other projects are expected to be energized in December, including: Phu Hoa 110 kV substation and connection (Phu Yen); Thuan Phuoc 110 kV substation (Da Nang City); Tra Da 110 kV substation and connection (Gia Lai); Buon Don 110 kV substation and connection (Dak Lak) and Duy Xuyen - Hoi An 110 kV line (Quang Nam).
The completion of EVNCPC's 110kV power projects in the provinces and cities of the Central Highlands is of utmost importance. Timely supply of electricity to develop load, reduce power loss, improve power quality and reliability of power supply in the region and neighboring areas, contributing to meeting the needs of socio-economic development, ensuring national security and defense and improving people's lives.
According to EVNCPC General Director Ngo Tan Cu, in order to complete the construction investment plan assigned by EVN in 2024 and the following years, EVNCPC has implemented many drastic solutions to overcome difficulties in investment policies, site clearance compensation, and strive to achieve and exceed the schedule for starting construction and energizing power projects.
However, some 110kV projects still face difficulties in investment policies and site clearance compensation, affecting the implementation progress. Project Management Boards and member Power Companies will continue to closely coordinate with local authorities, departments, branches and sectors to resolve difficulties and obstacles, ensuring the progress of project implementation.
