What majors does Block C03 recruit?
According to the allocation of subjects for university entrance exams from the Ministry of Education and Training, block C03 includes 3 subjects: Literature, Math, and History. This is one of the subject combinations chosen by many candidates, because it combines natural and social sciences, helping to develop different skills and opening up many learning and career opportunities.
In group C03, if the History and Math exams are conducted in multiple-choice format to allow candidates to be flexible in solving problems, the Literature exam uses an essay format, encouraging candidates to develop creative thinking and expression skills.
Compared to other subject combinations in block C, block C03 is considered to have many majors for admission. At the same time, majors for admission in this block are considered to bring job opportunities and relatively high salaries.
Currently, block C03 enrolls students in a number of majors such as: Marketing, Finance - Banking, Mathematics Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, History Pedagogy, Primary Pedagogy, Journalism, Police, State Management, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Law, Literature, Political Science.
Some schools currently recruiting block C03
People's Security Academy - in 2024, using block C03 to enroll students in the Security Services major. Last year, the benchmark score for this major ranged from 19.37 to 24.19 points. Depending on the subject and the area of residence, the Academy will have a different score.
In which, female candidates (region 8) have the lowest standard score of 19.37 points and the highest is female (region 3) with 24.19 points.
University of Finance - Business Administration - this year, enrolls 2 majors in block C03: Auditing and Accounting. The school plans to enroll students in 4 ways: direct admission, admission based on the results of the Hanoi National University's capacity assessment exam, considering the results of the high school graduation exam and considering the academic transcript.
In 2023, with the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the admission threshold for the above two majors is 15 points.
National Economics University is enrolling students for the Public Relations major under block C03. In 2024, the university plans to enroll 60 students, using 3 methods for this major: considering high school graduation exam scores, direct admission, and combined admission.
In addition to admission based on block C03, the Public Relations major also admits students based on blocks A01; C04; D01. For the 2024-2025 school year, the school sets tuition fees ranging from 16 to 22 million VND/school year.
Ho Chi Minh City Open University uses block C03 to enroll students in two majors: Tourism and Human Resource Management. In 2023, based on the graduation exam score, the admission threshold for Tourism is 23.4 points and for Human Resource Management is 24.3 points.
This year, the school plans to enroll students in four ways: considering high school graduation exam scores, direct and priority admission, considering high school transcripts, and considering competency assessment test scores.
Saigon University only uses block C03 to enroll students in one major, Law. In 2024, the school plans to enroll students in three ways: based on entrance exam scores, Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam scores, and high school graduation exam scores.
In addition to admission by block C03, the Law faculty also admits students by block D01. In which, block C03 has a standard admission score of 23.87 and block D01 has 22.87 points.
