The 17th Vietnam Journalists Association Table Tennis Championship - Sao Vang Cup 2024 is an ideal and beneficial sports playground for journalists across the country.

"Not only is it a place to show off talent and train physical strength, the tournament is also an opportunity for journalists across the country to meet, exchange and share expertise and professionalism in the profession," emphasized journalist Kieu Binh Dinh.

He also suggested that the Organizing Committee should consider expanding the venue to the Central or Southern regions to create opportunities for press units far from the center to participate more easily.

"In fact, the Associations and Inter-Associations in remote areas, like the South and Central regions, have very limited funds. The athletes want to participate but the Association does not organize. Therefore, the Organizing Committee should consider mobilizing more sponsorship, so that units in remote areas have travel expenses to help them participate in the tournament more often," journalist Kieu Binh Dinh shared.

For his part, journalist Tran Quang Hoa, People's Police Newspaper (under the Ministry of Public Security Journalists Association), highly appreciated the professional organization of this year's tournament. He said that his unit has participated in the tournament for many years and has achieved many impressive results. With a burning sportsmanship spirit, he hopes that his team will continue to achieve good results this season.

"Compared to previous tournaments, this year's tournament is much more developed. This year, my unit participated in the tournament with 5 members including 4 men and 1 woman competing in team events, men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. Regarding the organization, the organizing committee was professional and disciplined, from the referees to the athletes, who were all equipped with very modern clothing and competition equipment...", journalist Quang Hoa commented.
