Khanh Hoa Children's Cultural Palace is built on a land area of over 2.7 hectares in the center of Nha Trang City. Construction began on the morning of June 1 and is expected to be completed after two years.
The project is located in the city center, surrounded by Thai Nguyen, Le Thanh Phuong, and Yersin streets. This area was previously home to the Provincial Children's House, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, and the Vocational Technical Center. In May, the government demolished a number of old, dilapidated structures.
The Children's Palace has an area of nearly 7,000 m2, a square of 3,922 m2, a sports and green area of nearly 11,000 m2, and a path of more than 5,200 m2. The project will have functional areas including a theater block for young children; a central classroom block; a sports field cluster; an outdoor swimming pool; a children's playground... After completion, the children's house can serve up to 2,500 children to play and study.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan requested relevant units to soon complete and put the project into operation, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
