Urgently review and inspect health examination activities involving foreign elements

Accordingly, on November 8, the press reported on the situation of "chaotic health check-ups for going abroad: no receipt, payment into personal accounts" at Hanoi National University Hospital and Transport Hospital.

In response to the above information, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management requested the Director of Hanoi National University Hospital and the Director of the Transport Hospital to urgently inspect and verify all related incidents and strictly handle violations (if any).

The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health) requests urgent review and inspection of health examination activities involving foreign elements.

Units urgently review and inspect health examination activities in general and health examinations involving foreign elements in particular at the facility. Along with that, units strengthen the management of health examinations and issuance of health certificates according to relevant legal documents and directives and instructions of competent authorities.

In addition, the Director of Hanoi National University Hospital and the Transport Hospital shall be legally responsible for the examination and issuance of health certificates of the facility; report to the direct management agency and report to the Ministry of Health (Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management) on the progress and results of the inspection and verification before November 18, 2024.
