Starting at the Royal Palace Museum - The perfect starting point The race starts from the Royal Palace Museum on Sisavangvong Road - also known for the most vibrant and bustling night markets of the ancient capital of Luang Prabang. With its unique architecture, the Royal Palace Museum is not only one of the most important cultural sites in Luang Prabang, but also houses many valuable artifacts reflecting Lao history and culture.
