The exhibition demonstrates Nhan Dan Newspaper's efforts in the digital transformation roadmap.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh said that on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), Nhan Dan Newspaper organized a special information session with elaborate, methodical and thorough preparation for nearly half a year, starting with the launch of the In-depth Knowledge page about Hanoi.

The product aims to convey valuable information and documents, memories and emotions about the heroic atmosphere of October 10, 1954; the cultural and historical values ​​of a thousand years of civilization and the development vision of the Capital in the future.

In addition, Nhan Dan Newspaper also launched the project “Each person, a piece of the puzzle”. In this project, readers send personal photos to be combined into a large photo of Hanoi Flag Tower. Readers will use the provided code to find the location of their photo in the large photo published on October 10.

The highlight of the special information campaign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital is the daily supplement of Nhan Dan Newspaper on October 10, 2024 with the theme of Hanoi Flag Tower. The special supplement includes a page of content about Hanoi Flag Tower and a page of model collage.

Readers can cut and paste the printed newspaper page into a model of the Hanoi Flag Tower and interact with the model through 3 QR codes. Each QR code will provide extended content and lead to other interesting projects in the Nhan Dan Newspaper ecosystem.

In particular, from October 9-13, Nhan Dan Newspaper will organize the Hanoi Flagpole Interactive Exhibition at its headquarters at 71 Hang Trong. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the army marching towards Hanoi using mixed reality technology. This experience will recreate 10 important milestones in the process of liberating and taking over the capital in October 1954.

Tech-savvy travelers can use augmented reality (AR) glasses to view 3D images of Hanoi.

Using a device integrated with 2 50Mp cameras, the Organizing Committee captured and recorded 3D space videos in beautiful Full HD resolution of many locations in the Capital such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda, Hanoi Flag Tower, Long Bien Bridge, Opera House, 5 Hanoi gates...

Users have the opportunity to experience these images in 3D space, just like viewing real-life landmarks with the naked eye.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh also informed: From October 10, at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Hanoi as well as the permanent offices in all 63 provinces and cities nationwide, we will also start giving away the special supplement Hanoi Flag Tower for free to readers nationwide.
