(NADS) - On the afternoon of August 30, at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts (Hanoi), the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized an exhibition of fine arts and photography works by authors awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize in 2022, from August 30 to September 8.
Attending the exhibition were: Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen The Ky, Chairman of the Central Council for Literature and Arts Theory; Associate Professor, Dr., musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Artist Tran Thi Thu Dong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, Chairman of the Association of Photographic Artists; Painter Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association; Artist Ma The Anh, Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions...
The exhibition aims to introduce and honor outstanding achievements in the creative careers of painters, sculptors, and photographers who have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnamese literature and art.
Among the 128 authors and co-authors who were awarded or posthumously awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2022, 26 authors from the fine arts and photography community were awarded or posthumously awarded the Prize, including 3 authors who were awarded or posthumously awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and 23 authors who were awarded or posthumously awarded the State Prize.
Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to admire 47 works. These are all works of fine art and photography with high artistic value, profound ideological content, and truly and vividly reflect the historical periods of the nation.
