Opening of Chi Linh-Hai Duong Festival 2023 with the theme "Convergence of quintessence"

On the evening of September 28, at Sao Do Square, Chi Linh City (Hai Duong), the 2023 Chi Linh-Hai Duong Festival officially opened with the theme "Convergence of elites - Aspiration to shine".

Attending the program were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; Member of the Party Central Committee, General Secretary of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong; leaders of central ministries, departments and branches; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Hai Duong province.

Speaking at the Festival, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang highly appreciated and acknowledged the initiative of Chi Linh City to organize the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 program to gradually build a unique and creative cultural brand on the foundation of the nation's core cultural values, demonstrating the vitality, transmission and spread of the quintessence of national culture; creating opportunities to connect cultural heritages from localities across the country.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang believes that through the series of events in the program, it will be an important starting foundation for Chi Linh City, as well as Hai Duong province, to continue to have new developments in the tourism service industry.

This creates a premise to attract investors in the fields of infrastructure and tourism services, changing the face of the tourism industry in both quality and quantity, gradually turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the economic sectors of Chi Linh City and Hai Duong province.

The opening ceremony program includes 3 chapters: "Echoes of the origin", "Convergence of the essence" and "Aspiration to shine" with many unique art performances staged on a grand scale, with a large number of artists.

Many unique songs and new compositions about Chi Linh, Hai Duong have been performed by Sao Mai singers: Hoang Tung, Minh Quan, Le Anh Dung, Luong Nguyet Anh...

The Festival is also a place for cultural exchange and reunion of Van singing (Chi Linh), Then singing (Tay ethnic group, Lang Son city), Soong Co (San Diu ethnic group, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang); Quan Ho (Bac Ninh)... In addition, there are performances by the Vietnam Lion and Dragon Dance Federation from 10 provinces and cities...

It is known that this is the first time Chi Linh City organizes a Festival. The activities in the Festival are held at the same time as the Con Son-Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2023 - a particularly important cultural and tourism festival of the city.

Chi Linh City hopes that through the activities of the Chi Linh-Hai Duong Festival 2023, it will create new tourism products; introduce and promote socio-economic development achievements, historical - cultural values, beliefs, celebrities, and tourist destinations of Chi Linh City in particular and Hai Duong province in general; improve the spiritual and cultural life of the people and tourists, contributing to attracting investment and socio-economic development of the city and province.
