At 4:30 p.m. on September 29, the Ao Ba Ba Festival - Hau Giang 2023 officially opened at Ho Sen Cultural Area, Vi Thanh City, Hau Giang Province. In the mild sunny weather and blue clouds, hundreds of delegates and people of Hau Giang gracefully showed off their beauty in many colors of Ao Ba Ba.

Ms. Ho Thu Anh, Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee shared at the opening ceremony: When mentioning the Ao Ba Ba, everyone immediately thinks of the Southern region. The shirt has been associated with our ancestors since the time they carried swords to open up new territories and explore the Southern region. In any period, any era, the Ao Ba Ba always leaves a strong mark on the lives of the people of the Southern region. This is a very special, unique and very special traditional cultural product that cannot be found anywhere else.

The Ao Ba Ba Festival - Hau Giang 2023 takes place from September 29 to October 1 with many meaningful and valuable activities such as the culinary area of artisans preparing dishes from Cau Duc pineapple and Hau Giang catfish with the name: Thanh Flavor; AI Drawing Contest for students with the theme: My Hau Giang; cultural exchange "Ao Ba Ba past and present - Emotions"; exchange of performances of cooking catfish and eel by famous Japanese chefs...

The leaders of Hau Giang province sent their thanks to the leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly; the diplomatic corps, professors, lecturers and their families, and representatives of foreign companies operating in Vietnam who attended and performed the Ao Ba Ba in the opening ceremony.
