The Giap Thin Spring Festival of Kinh Mon town in 2024 will take place over 3 months (from January to April) with a series of outstanding cultural and religious events such as: Peace-praying ceremony at Tuong Van Pagoda; Festival of practicing the Vietnamese Mother Goddess worship at the Holy Mother Palace; 773rd anniversary of the death of King Tran Lieu (with the Cao An Phu temple relic); 320th anniversary of the death of the ancestor Thuy Nguyet at Nham Duong pagoda. The traditional ritual part with drum beating, gong inviting, incense offering; the festival part including cultural activities, sports, folk games will be held at the Cao An Phu temple relic, Kinh Chu cave, Nham Duong pagoda.
In Kinh Mon town, there are currently 202 relics, including 1 special national relic complex, 15 nationally ranked relics and 20 provincial-level relics... According to Kinh Mon Relic Management Board, in the first 8 days of the year of the Dragon, relic sites in the town welcomed more than 60,000 visitors to visit and offer incense, an increase of nearly 20,000 visitors compared to the same period last year.
