The flower street is held at Mailand Hanoi City urban area (Bac An Khanh, Hoai Duc, Hanoi) until February 3 (the 6th day of Tet) with many outstanding activities. In the opening ceremony on the morning of January 16, the drum beat and the lion and dragon dance were performed to welcome the first visitors to visit and experience.

This year's flower street has the theme "Vietnamese Tet Concert", inspired by traditional music - Pentatonic with the scale of 5 notes do - re - mi - la - sol. Diva Hong Nhung performed the song Hoa xuan ca by musician Trinh Cong Son on the opening day of Home Hanoi Xuan 2025.

Domestic and foreign tourists came to Home Hanoi Xuan 2025 to experience many unique activities honoring Vietnam's traditional Tet culture, with the participation of more than 150 diplomats.

Home Hanoi Xuan is part of the network of events promoting the image of Hanoi - Creative City, according to the UNESCO project. The program is organized by Phu Long Company; UNESCO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Hoai Duc District People's Committee, and Sovico Group.

Mr. Jonathan Baker - Chief Representative of UNESCO Office in Vietnam and his wife attended the opening ceremony, experiencing Vietnamese cultural and traditional activities such as wrapping banh chung, listening to ca tru, shopping at stalls... He assessed that this is an opportunity for international friends and tourists to better understand Vietnamese culture. "The richness and diversity of Vietnamese culture has been recreated right at this festival. The event is an ideal place to meet the international community in Hanoi", the UNESCO representative emphasized.

Ms. Shi Qing Yue - an employee of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam said that she understood more about the traditional Tet atmosphere of Vietnam through experiencing the Home Hanoi Spring 2025 flower street. "As a culture lover, I feel the connection and warmth of the traditional Tet holiday of Vietnamese people. This is a meaningful and memorable experience during my time working in Vietnam," said Shi Qing Yue.

Representatives of the Lao Embassy in Vietnam experienced making banh chung and were guided by the Organizing Committee to introduce the process of making a complete banh chung. Participants enjoyed wrapping the cakes, lighting the fire and scooping out the finished cakes. They also experienced roasting corn and potatoes on hot coals.

Present at the flower street early in the morning, Phuong Anh (Cau Giay) said that besides experiencing traditional culture, this is an ideal place for spring travel. “As a young person who loves to explore, wants to find new places at the end of the year to take pictures and enjoy the atmosphere, I have been coming to Home Hanoi Xuan for many years. Every year the flower street always has a new theme, fresh colors, and the scents of the three regions,” Phuong Anh said.

Home Hanoi Xuan 2025 Flower Street opens from January 16 to February 3, free for people and tourists to visit and experience the Vietnamese Tet atmosphere in the capital Hanoi.

"Not only preserving traditional beauty, we expect the event to connect the community, illuminate cultural values ​​in modern life, bring a brilliant, emotional space, both familiar and fresh, close the old year and open a new year full of hope and prosperity," the organizing committee representative shared.

Next to the flower street, Mailand Hanoi City is one of the venues for fireworks performances on New Year's Eve.
