Closing the bikini and evening gown performances at the Miss Universe 2023 semi-finals and the national costume competition, how many points did Bui Quynh Hoa evaluate and give to her previous competitions?

- Currently, I and other contestants have completed all of our competitions and are waiting for the Miss Universe 2023 finale to take place at 8:00 a.m. on November 19 (Vietnam time). As a contestant, I cannot do the judging for the judges. But I have tried my best in each competition and in my daily activities while participating in the Miss Universe 2023 contest.

The national costume competition in particular left me with the most special emotions. Because this was the performance that most clearly promoted Vietnamese culture in my competitions at Miss Universe 2023. When I stood on stage, I clearly felt the love for my country flowing through me and I performed very passionately.

It is undeniable that Miss Universe 2023 is considered to be full of "stars" and "thousand-blooded warriors" participating such as representatives from Thailand, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Nicaragua... What does Bui Quynh Hoa see as her strengths in this beauty contest?

- Because I have many years of experience as a model, competing in many competitions both domestically and internationally, I am quite confident when standing on stage. However, this is one of the biggest Miss stages on the planet, accompanied by very strong representatives from many countries with amazing bodies, skills, and charisma... Therefore, I only know that I have to try my best in every performance, make efforts every day in all activities of the organizing committee.

Many people commented that Bui Quynh Hoa is a bit thin after participating in the Miss Universe 2023 contest. So did you lose weight like many other Vietnamese representatives when competing internationally? Is there anything that people don't know about your efforts when you "brought the bell to strike a foreign land" alone?

- The Miss Universe contest is extremely competitive, the performances require high concentration, so anxiety and psychological pressure are inevitable. Maybe that's why I'm a bit thin, but my spirit is increasingly stable and excited for the upcoming Miss Universe 2023 final. I hope everyone will support me in the final stage of this contest!

Some people say that this year, the Vietnamese representative seems to have lost the chance to enter the Top thanks to the audience's votes. So, does Bui Quynh Hoa think this is a disadvantage or an opportunity for her?

- Any representative who competes hopes to receive a lot of support from the audience. If I lose the opportunity to be in the Top at Miss Universe 2023 thanks to the audience's vote, I will definitely regret it. But that is also the motivation for me to strive harder, not only in the competition but also in the future throughout my life, so that I can always have activities that are recognized and supported by the audience.

Before the Miss Universe 2023 final, if you had to choose a name for the highest position, the most "formidable" opponent, who do you think it would be?

- Honestly, in a competition with such strong opponents, I don't know who to choose, because everyone seems strong (laughs).

The truth is, does Bui Quynh Hoa feel pressured or worried about receiving mixed opinions and being involved in a scandal before the Miss Universe 2023 contest that could affect the results of the final tomorrow morning (November 19)?

- After the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 contest, I have been trying to prepare for the journey to Miss Universe 2023. Honestly, I have been reflecting on what happened to me and realized many things. I feel extremely regretful that on the final night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, because I was too nervous, I did not do as well as during the entire process of participating in this beauty contest. However, I understand that if I just sit there regretting, nothing will change, so my job is to recognize the problem, correct mistakes and improve myself, and move forward.

What is Bui Quynh Hoa's goal and ranking at the Miss Universe 2023 final?

- No matter what the final results of Miss Universe 2023 are, this is the most valuable experience of my life. I am happy and grateful to everyone who shared, embraced, tolerated, and encouraged me throughout this journey!
