(QNO) – Speaking at the recent Summit of 5 provinces of 3 countries on cooperation in developing the East-West Economic Corridor, Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee affirmed that Vietnam and Laos in general, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Sekong, the southern Lao provinces in particular are close neighbors, the people of the two countries have a long-standing relationship of solidarity, traditional friendship and attachment. Meanwhile, Vietnam and Thailand are two countries with a strategic partnership. Therefore, connecting and linking regions in the region for cooperation and development is an inevitable trend and for the benefit of each side.
