At the conference, members of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 - 16, the District Steering Committee 35 assessed the current situation, presented the achieved results, shared experiences and proposed many tasks and solutions in the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation and foreign information work.
The conference affirmed that in 2023, the leadership and direction of the implementation of the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views and foreign information will be effectively implemented by Party committees at all levels. The work of monitoring and grasping the situation of public opinion, providing ideological orientation information to cadres, party members and people will be strengthened; timely providing official information in many rich and diverse forms through the internet, social networks, reporters, press agencies, etc. Thereby creating consensus and support of cadres, party members and people in implementing the Party's resolutions and directives, the State's policies and laws, contributing to socio-economic development, maintaining political stability, and ensuring social order in the province.
In addition to the achieved results, the conference also pointed out some limitations in forecasting the situation and grasping the ideological developments of cadres, party members and people. The work of advising, providing information, orienting, directing activities, organizing the fight against some complicated and sensitive cases, and the arising problems were sometimes not timely. It is forecasted that in 2024, hostile and reactionary forces will continue to increase sabotage and fabrication activities; taking full advantage of negative information and dark corners of society to distort and divide the great national unity bloc.
To enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and foreign information in 2024, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that, first of all, it is necessary to do a good job of "building" and "fighting". In particular, building cadres, party members, union members, association members and people with political courage and awareness is the most important and core thing.
