2024 could be the year Apple takes the iPhone 16 Pro Max to the top with more outstanding upgrades than other versions of the iPhone 16 series.

According to multiple sources, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will increase in size, potentially becoming Apple's largest iPhone ever.
The device will have a larger display than the iPhone 15 Pro Max and is expected to be taller and wider than its predecessor launched last year.

The latest news from IT Home shows that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be taller (163.03mm compared to 159.9mm of the iPhone 15 Pro Max) and wider (77.58mm compared to 76.7mm of the 15 Pro Max).
While the thickness will remain the same as its predecessor, the weight of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will increase slightly due to its larger size.
If accurate, this would be the first iPhone size increase since Apple's iPhone 12 lineup.
In addition to the increased size, the iPhone 16 Pro Max screen will also be larger. According to leaked news, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is said to have a 6.9-inch screen, compared to 6.7 inches on last year's iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max's screen bezel is even as thin as 1.15mm. For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a screen bezel of about 1.55mm and the top Android smartphone Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is 1.5mm.
With the screen border reduced to an ultra-thin level, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will become the high-end smartphone with the most beautiful borderless screen in the world.
Bigger camera
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a more advanced main camera, 12% larger in size, equipped with a custom 48MP Sony IMX903 sensor with a stacked design for better performance.
This is accompanied by a 14-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) for high-quality image data conversion and digital gain control (DCG) technology for better dynamic range and reduced noise.
Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is also rumored to feature a 48MP Ultra Wide camera, an upgrade from the 12MP lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Apple is also said to be equipping the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a Capture button. The Capture button will function like the shutter button on a professional camera with touch sensitivity and zoom control, giving users more control over their shots and even the ability to adjust the zoom on the fly.
Longer battery life
According to TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will use a higher energy density battery for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which will help provide longer battery life, even if the battery size remains the same as on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Initial leaks suggest that both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models will use stacked battery technology, which should result in higher capacity and longer battery life.
Meanwhile, according to another source, this year's iPhone 16 Pro Max will have an even greater battery life of 30 hours. For comparison, the battery life of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is 29 hours.
The iPhone 16 series is expected to be launched by Apple next September. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max versions have strong upgrades in screen, camera, battery life, support for Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Advance connectivity, a graphene cooling system and a series of new AI features.
