As previously reported, striker Huynh Nhu had to use a wheelchair to return to Germany on June 21.
Huynh Nhu must practice according to a separate lesson plan.
The image of the captain of the Vietnamese women's team unable to walk on her own has made fans worried, especially as the 2023 World Cup is approaching.
However, recently, Huynh Nhu said she was fine and the injury was not too serious.
“At first, I was a bit worried, but after 3 days of active recovery training, my current condition is relatively stable,” Huynh Nhu shared during the afternoon training session on June 22.
Nhu was injured in the first half of the match against U23 Poland and was taken off by coach Mai Duc Chung.
On June 22, the striker born in 1991 had an MRI scan performed by doctors of the Vietnamese women's team and doctors of Eintracht Frankfurt Club to check for an ankle injury.
According to the diagnosis, Huynh Nhu only suffered minor injuries but still needs about a week to recover and return.
This means that the player currently playing for Lank FC will be absent from the friendly match with the German team taking place on June 24.
Returning to the afternoon training session on June 22, coach Mai Duc Chung gave the Vietnamese women's team intensive training on speed and technique.
Meanwhile, the goalkeepers continued to practice ball catching techniques and reflexes.
In the final part, the coaching staff arranged for the whole team to coordinate, perform quick attacks, finish the goal and cross the wing.
