Closely following the goals and tasks identified for 2025, right from the beginning of the year, the district reviewed key tasks, programs and plans to direct departments, offices, communes and towns to focus on implementation with the determination to successfully carry out the tasks of 2025. Along with that, the district accelerated the progress of key projects and works, improved the efficiency of investment attraction; strictly managed and effectively used land, protected the environment; prepared all the best conditions to attract tourists. At the same time, promote the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong; do a good job of preparing and organizing party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; focus on arranging the organization of the political system in the direction of "streamlining - compact - strong - effective - efficient - effective - efficient"...
After the Lunar New Year holiday, the district's agencies and units immediately got to work. The one-stop-shop departments and the district Public Administration Center went into operation, serving well the transaction needs of people, organizations and businesses. The Center updated the administrative procedure settlement process on the province's public service page, signed input documents and attached additional documents, returned documents to the system via software, digitized the results of administrative procedure settlement and signed the settlement steps. From the beginning of February until now, the Center has received 1,406 dossiers, resolved 1,044 dossiers; of which 1,044 dossiers were resolved before and on time, and 1,012 dossiers were provided online public services.

In 2025, the revenue in the district managed by the Cam Pha - Van Don - Co To Tax Department will be 464 billion VND; of which 277 billion VND will be collected from land use fees, 187 billion VND from fees and charges. To achieve this goal, the District People's Committee has worked with agencies, units, communes and towns to review and promote revenue sources in the area; establish an interdisciplinary working group to coordinate tax management in the district; collect and pay non-agricultural taxes. At the same time, the Tax Advisory Council has been strengthened, contributing to the effective implementation of tax management, focusing on collecting revenue from land, ensuring progress right from the first months of the year.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tang, Deputy Head of the Tax Department, said: The Department coordinates with the departments, offices and units of the district to regularly and closely monitor the progress of budget collection; analyze and evaluate each source of revenue, specifically identify each revenue item and revenue field, to promptly advise and propose to the District People's Committee to direct the implementation of tasks, solutions and measures to increase state budget revenue, especially fees, land use fees and financial measures. At the same time, coordinate with the District Department of Culture and Information, related units to work specifically with each enterprise, tourism and service business unit; on that basis, develop a plan to collect revenue from the service sector to ensure it is close, correct, and has a suitable roadmap according to the reality of each stage.
In 2025, the district will implement 23 public investment projects (15 transitional projects, 3 newly started projects, 5 projects preparing for investment), with a total allocated capital of over 336 billion VND. To ensure the progress of investment projects and disbursement of public investment capital, district leaders closely work with relevant departments, offices and units to accelerate the implementation of transitional projects; review investment portfolios to ensure they are consistent with the needs and development orientation of the district.
To attract investment, the district coordinated with the Van Don Economic Zone Management Board to publicize and implement the planning project of Cai Bau Island Mountainous Area, Van Don Economic Zone, which was approved by the Provincial People's Committee. Thereby, completing the economic zone's infrastructure system.
