World guitar legend performs for the first time in Vietnam

To mark the 45th anniversary of his career, Steve Vai - world guitar legend and winner of three Grammy awards - will hold a concert in Vietnam on October 19.

Over the past two years, Steve Vai has released a new studio album called Inviolate and a single called Vai/Gash. Along with that, Steve Vai is currently on the Inviolate World Tour with his band to locations around the world.

Ho Chi Minh City is Steve Vai's first stop on his journey to Southeast Asia on October 19. This is also the first time the world guitar legend has come to Vietnam to perform.

Steve Vai is an iconic guitarist, musician, and composer who first conceived of a 7-string electric guitar design for rock music in 1987, creating a viral sensation in the music world.

With many years of touring experience, Steve Vai always brings live performances, close interaction with the audience. Steve Vai's guitar playing techniques are always highly appreciated.

Steve Vai can also play the guitar fluently with only one hand. He wrote the song while having surgery to repair his right shoulder and only using the guitar with his left hand.

Besides bringing the tour to Vietnam, Steve Vai will spend time interacting and sharing about his music with the audience attending the concert. After the concert in Ho Chi Minh City, he will continue to bring the tour to Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.
