Nho Quan district launches patriotic emulation movement in 2024

Attending the event were comrade Tong Quang Thin, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches; and mass organizations in Nho Quan district.

In 2023, under the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, and the efforts and strivings of the entire Party committee, government and people, the emulation movement continues to be widely, effectively and practically deployed in all fields, contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio -economic development task.

The district's economy continues to develop, infrastructure is strengthened; the work of building new rural areas is directed resolutely and effectively; agricultural production achieves high productivity; industry and handicrafts develop quite well; culture and society have made much progress, social security is ensured, the poverty rate has decreased to 2.57%, the material and spiritual life of the people has improved; political security and social order and safety are maintained; national defense is strengthened; the management and operation effectiveness of authorities at all levels has been improved.

The entire district party committee has 19.71% of grassroots party organizations, 22.72% of grassroots governments, and 80% of mass organizations achieving clean and strong status.

Many outstanding results in the year, namely Nho Quan has 5 communes recognized as meeting advanced NTM standards (Phu Loc, Cuc Phuong, Van Phuong, Lac Van, Gia Tuong), 1 commune meeting model NTM standards (Gia Thuy); 19 villages recognized as meeting model NTM residential area standards. Evaluate and classify 12 district-level OCOP products in 2023. Average income per capita reaches 60 million VND/year, achieving the set plan.

In 2023, 33 new projects and works were started. Measure, count and complete procedures for land acquisition, site clearance, and early handover of land for projects and works invested by the province, including: Investment project to build the East-West road in Ninh Binh province (phase 1); Project to upgrade the main road to the Kenh Ga stream tourist area and Van Trinh cave; Project to overpass the Boi river, Gia Son commune...

During the year, the district completed the construction of the Project "Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Muong ethnic group in Nho Quan district associated with tourism development" phase 1 (2023-2025). Cultural, artistic and sports activities took place vigorously, attracting a large number of people to participate. Cultural heritage conservation activities were given attention and focus, associated with the construction, promotion and preservation of tangible and intangible cultural values. The work of building a cultural and civilized lifestyle in the district was promoted; focusing on effectively implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

In 2024, the key tasks set by the district are: Thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the directive documents of the Central Government, the province, the resolutions issued by the District Party Committee and the District People's Council; unite, persevere, be determined, make efforts to overcome difficulties, be proactive, creative, and strive to successfully achieve socio-economic goals and targets.

In the immediate future, focus on directing production and business development, preparing good conditions for people to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024, taking care of the material and spiritual life of cadres, employees, and workers, especially visiting and wishing a happy new year to families with meritorious services, poor households, lonely elderly people, etc. Encourage businesses, organizations, and individuals to support the poor and disadvantaged to have more conditions to enjoy Tet and welcome Spring.

The District People's Committee continues to innovate and be more drastic in leadership, direction, administration and work settlement; requires heads of agencies, units, Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and towns to continue to promote personal responsibility, leaders, leadership, direction and administration to be drastic and effective; focus on innovating working methods and work handling procedures; clearly assign responsibilities, focus on organization and implementation; tighten discipline and administrative discipline in performing public duties.

Continue to promote administrative procedure reform, promote the implementation of administrative procedures in the electronic environment; focus on directing the application of information technology in state management, building e-Government.

Improve the efficiency of management and use of public investment capital, speed up the implementation of investment projects, especially important projects. Focus on projects with regional and inter-regional connectivity, connecting key tourist areas, industrial zones and clusters, expanding urban space, creating space and driving force for socio-economic development. Continue to invest in completing socio-economic infrastructure in a synchronous, modern and harmonious direction.

Promote administrative reform, actively implement Project 06 and carry out the construction of e-Government, digital transformation, improve the efficiency and transparency of state management agencies' operations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of direction and administration.

Implement the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period, in conjunction with reviewing, arranging, and organizing the apparatus in a streamlined, effective, and efficient manner, ensuring goals and roadmaps. At the same time, strengthen local military and defense work; maintain political security, social order and safety in the district.
