Krong Buk District: Total production value in 2023 reaches 4,641 billion VND

On December 21, the People's Council of Krong Buk district, term XII, 2021 - 2026, held the 7th session to evaluate the results of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in 2023; directions and tasks in 2024; discuss and approve important contents.

In 2023, the district's socio-economic situation continued to have many positive changes. Total production value reached 4,641 billion VND (100.4% of the plan); average economic growth rate was 7.76% (106.3% of the plan); average income per capita was 52 million VND (113% of the plan).

Total state budget revenue reached 101 billion VND (101% of the plan); total social investment capital was 614 billion VND (104% of the plan); the poverty rate according to the new standard decreased by 1%.

During the year, the district established 32 new enterprises, 6 cooperatives, and 200 business households. The fields of culture, society, education, and health have many positive changes; social security is guaranteed; people's lives are improved; national defense and security are maintained.

In 2024, the district will continue to focus on investing in infrastructure to meet the needs of socio-economic development; remove planning obstacles; transform the agricultural and forestry economic structure towards diversification, increase the proportion of livestock, develop fisheries and agricultural services; increase the issuance of land use right certificates, etc.

The meeting voted to pass 14 resolutions, including a number of important resolutions, such as: Resolution on approving key targets in the task of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in 2024; Resolution on approving the plan for allocating the State budget estimate in 2024; Resolution on assigning the plan for capital investment in basic construction, capital for economic career of the district budget in 2024...

Speaking at the closing session, Chairman of the District People's Council Tran Quoc Tuan requested the District People's Committee, all levels and sectors, especially the heads of units and localities, to focus on leadership, direction, synchronous, flexible and creative implementation of solutions suitable to the practical situation, in order to successfully implement the goals and tasks of 2024.
