The Ea Kar district OCOP product evaluation and classification council said that in 2023, the district had 9 entities registering and submitting 12 products to participate in the OCOP evaluation and classification.
Of which, there are 10 newly registered products, 1 product that participated in the provincial council evaluation in 2022 and 1 product registered for re-evaluation.
Before organizing the evaluation and classification of OCOP products, the Ea Kar District OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council inspected the production facilities of each entity regarding factories, production areas, product processing, raw material areas, product processing lines, waste treatment systems, environmental protection, etc.

The members of the Advisory Board conducted inspections and evaluations of qualified products according to the set of criteria for evaluating the dossiers and samples of 13 products. On that basis, the District Council organized scoring, evaluation and classification.
As a result, there are 4 products that achieved from 75.27 to over 81 points and were classified as 4-star OCOP standard products including: ST 25 Seven-Two-One Rice, Thai Dang 3-in-1 Cocoa Powder, Thai Dang Milk Chocolate, Thai Dang Dark Chocolate.

6 products with scores from 57 to over 61 points are classified as 3-star OCOP standards including: Xuan Sang herbal tea, Dak Lak macadamia nuts, LESON CAFÉ, Lam Tien frozen durian, Premium nut cake, Standard macadamia nuts.
