On January 14, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the leader of Hue University Office said that the director of this unit has issued a decision to cancel the admission results for graduate students.
Accordingly, the Director of Hue University decided to cancel the admission to the master's program in Economic Law at the University of Law (under Hue University) for student Dao Thi Bich Thuy (born in 1958, from Thai Binh).

The decision stated that Ms. Thuy was recognized as a graduate student and graduate student of the 2021 course, majoring in Economic Law at the University of Law. However, she used her university degree certificate in violation of regulations to take the first round of the 2021 graduate entrance exam.
After deciding to cancel the master's admission results, Hue University will direct the University of Law to carry out the necessary procedures to revoke the master's degree granted to Ms. Thuy.
According to the leader of the Training and Student Affairs Department of Hue University, the cancellation of the graduate admission results was carried out after the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi canceled the graduation recognition and revoked Ms. Thuy's bachelor's degree.
Specifically, on November 15, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities decided to cancel the graduation recognition and revoke the bachelor's degree of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities determined that Ms. Thuy violated the conditions for taking the university entrance exam according to the regulations on admission to the regular training system in universities, colleges and vocational secondary schools.
According to the reporter's investigation, on February 26, 2024, Ms. Thuy was accepted and appointed to the position of Vice Principal of Kinh Bac University, concurrently Chief of Office of the school.
In October of the same year, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a document related to the organization and operation of Kinh Bac University.
The Ministry of Education and Training determined that the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa from the position of Principal and the assignment of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy to be in charge of and manage all activities of the school did not follow proper procedures.
Kinh Bac University later clarified that Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hong's use of her position as chairwoman of the university council to appoint and assign tasks to Mr. Pham Ngoc Truc and Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy was not within her authority, not in accordance with procedures, and not in accordance with the law.
