On June 14, the Love in the Bay stage in collaboration with Time Crossroads officially took place on a cruise ship in the middle of Ha Long Bay. This is the first time Time Crossroads has been filmed on an open-air stage on a Ha Long cruise ship with the participation of 500 audiences and the couple Hoang Hai - Huong Tram.
Songs such as: Hoa nang, Cho em gan anh them chut nui, Em gai mua ... were newly arranged to suit the special space in the middle of the heritage bay, true to the criteria of the program Giao lo thoi gian recorded live with the presence of the audience.
Ra la em dau qua mong manh is one of the songs with the most memories for Huong Tram as it was released right before she went to the US. That was when she showed everyone her weak, vulnerable image but also marked Huong Tram's courage in daring to show the truth behind her strong appearance.
“At that time, Tram showed everyone her weakest image. Everyone saw Tram losing sleep, saw Tram scratched. But for Tram, this is a commemorative song because it says that actually, when showing the world her weakest side is when she bravely shows the truth behind her girl."
Sharing about her decision to go to the US when she was at the peak of her career, Huong Tram said she was inspired by a quote from Oprah Winfrey - one of the most influential women in the world.
"The most important thing for a person when born to be an artist is to have a heart to give. To do that, we must always nurture the "cup" in our soul until one day that cup overflows. The overflowing energy of the artist is what we reserve to give.
One day when work came and I felt my energy was a bit depleted, I stopped to find new melodies and sounds to bring back all the energy to fill my heart, to fill the cup in my soul once again'' - the female singer confided.
Besides, she had a mashup performance of With You is Forever - You. These are songs that have been associated with Tram's name since the early days of her career.
Meanwhile, Hoang Hai humorously shared that 10 months after the competition The Masked Singer, he had to "move his bedroom onto the plane because he performed too much, 10 months of performing was equivalent to 10 years of hibernation".
During the duet with Huong Tram, Hoang Hai shared that there were more surprises and novelties when singing mashup songs, especially the hit changes that were carefully prepared and invested. Huong Tram did not hesitate to admit that she is a die-hard fan of Hoang Hai. She affirmed that she could remember all the songs in his album with a short performance of Autumn of Love - the male singer's one-time hit.
In addition, the show's "special" hit change with the song "Em se la giac mo" through a new and emotional performance by Huong Tram and "Em gai mua" through the powerful voice of Hoang Hai surprised the audience.
The concert ended with a resounding success with the duet “We Will Watch Fireworks Together” right under the fireworks display. Before leaving, the singing duo also responded to the audience’s requests by improvising “A Drunk Night” and “Find Again”.
Having a successful show with new arrangements in line with the spirit of performing in the heritage bay, we cannot fail to mention musician Duong Cam. To be able to bring 20 arrangements as well as be the "narrator" on stage for the 2 singers, musician Duong Cam and the Background band worked for 1 month.
