On the evening of January 3, Yen Bai province held a rehearsal for the art program Van Yen - Journey of 60 years of aspiration - breakthrough - development directed by playwright Le The Song.

The program is part of the 60th Anniversary of Van Yen District's Establishment (December 16, 1964 - December 16, 2024) to celebrate Van Yen District achieving new rural standards in 2024 and receiving the Second Class Labor Medal on the evening of January 4 at Van Yen District Stadium, Yen Bai Province.

Sharing about the art program, author Le The Song said that the land of Van Yen with its rich history and heroic traditions has evoked emotions for him and his creative team to create and stage an art program with many epic and lyrical segments.

"The art night will bring viewers to special emotions, vividly depicting the land and people of Van Yen, Yen Bai and the proud journey of 60 years of construction and development.

I used many artistic techniques that are both literary, aesthetic and highly entertaining in this music night," said author Le The Song.

The art program consists of 3 chapters: Chapter 1: Glorious history, shining tradition ; Chapter 2: Rich identity - sublimation land ; Chapter 3: Aspiration, breakthrough, development .

The program has the participation of singers: Hoang Hai, Minh Quan, Ngoc Anh, Sen Hoang My Lam, Tien Hung, To Thu Ha, Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, students of Chu Van An High School, militia and folk artists of Van Yen district, Yen Bai province...

The songs that will be performed on stage include: Unification song - Love of Van Yen land (composer: Van An), Passionate cinnamon scent, Van Yen homeland of memories (composer: An Hieu), Song of building new countryside (Music and lyrics: Ngoc Khue), Yen Bai love (Poetry: Do Quang, music: Phuong Nhung), Walking in the brilliant sky (Music and lyrics: Ngo Lan Huong), Vietnam on a new day (Music and lyrics: Nguyen Van Chung), Van Yen aspiration to reach far (Music and lyrics: Lam Dung Tien)...

The impressive highlight of the program is introducing the cultural identity of the ethnic groups of Van Yen district through selective theatrical performances.

Based on the musical material of the dances performed by the artists themselves, the audience can enjoy dances imbued with the national identity of the typical ethnic groups living in Van Yen, namely: Khen and Xenh Tien stick dance (H'Mong), ancient Xoe dance (Tay), Bell dance (Dao), Chim Gau dance (Cao Lan), Com Moi dance (Xa Pho)...
