Benefiting from the highway, tourists visiting Binh Thuan beach during the holidays increase sharply

Binh Thuan province's tourism continues to benefit from the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, with the number of tourists coming to celebrate National Day on September 2 this year continuing to increase sharply.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, the locality welcomed about 385,000 visitors, an increase of 3.3 times compared to the same period last year, earning about VND510 billion in revenue. The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments reached 80-95%, many places reached 100%. Domestic tourists coming to Binh Thuan province during this holiday are mostly from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, the Western provinces and some Northern provinces... Tourists are concentrated in Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh, Phan Thiet city. In addition, visitors also come to Tuy Phong, Ham Thuan Nam districts, La Gi town and Phu Quy island. Explaining the continued increase in the number of tourists, the locality said that this year's holiday season, some 4-5 star accommodation establishments and tourist attractions organized many large entertainment programs. For example, at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, many exciting programs are organized such as: Water Festival, music nights, new product lines at theme parks and especially artistic fireworks performances... creating more attractions for tourists.

Mr. Pham Quang Hau (CEO of Sonata Resort) further explained that tourists continue to choose Mui Ne - Phan Thiet because they benefit from the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway. According to Mr. Hau, although many new expressways have been put into operation recently, tourists still choose to come to Binh Thuan because it is the fastest and most convenient. Moreover, tourists traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway to Binh Thuan are spacious, fit the time frame and are less "sleepy" than other expressways (two-lane expressways). With the above advantages, representatives of many accommodation establishments in Binh Thuan said that the majority of visitors to the locality are families, traveling by private vehicles and staying "full of rooms" during the first two days of this holiday. Similarly, a representative of Le Viva Resort said that the recent holiday lasted for many days, so accommodation establishments launched many incentive programs, choosing to stay long (3 days 2 nights) will receive discounts...
