Pursuant to the Law on Crop Production 2018, Decree No. 02/2017/ND-CP dated January 9, 2017 on mechanisms and policies to support agricultural production to restore production in areas damaged by natural disasters and epidemics, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development guides localities to synthesize, count, assess damage, and complete support request dossiers of households, organizations, and individuals damaged by storm No. 3.

Farmers in Tan Tien commune (Hung Ha) were forced to plant fallen rice after storm No. 3.

Accordingly, farmers, farm owners, cooperatives, cooperatives and other individuals and organizations producing crops in the province that suffered direct damage caused by storm No. 3 will receive support if their production does not violate the planning, plans and agricultural production guidelines of the local government. Support levels: pure rice damaged over 70% will receive 2 million VND/ha, damage from 30 - 70% will receive 1 million VND/ha; hybrid rice area damaged over 70% will receive 3 million VND/ha, damage from 30 - 70% will receive 1.5 million VND/ha. Corn and vegetable areas damaged over 70% will receive 2 million VND/ha, damage from 30 - 70% will receive 1 million VND/ha; Industrial crops and perennial fruit trees with damage of over 70% will receive support of 4 million VND/ha, and damage of 30-70% will receive support of 2 million VND/ha.
