Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son received Governor of Nagasaki Province (Japan) Kengo Oishi.

At the meeting, Minister Bui Thanh Son affirmed that Vietnam considers local cooperation between the two countries an important, practical and effective cooperation channel to enhance economic, trade and labor cooperation, and promote people-to-people exchange between the two countries. Minister Bui Thanh Son asked Governor Oishi to encourage the province's enterprises to increase investment and business in Vietnam; enhance human resource training, and promote people-to-people exchange activities. Governor Oishi agreed to support expanding cooperation between Nagasaki province and Vietnamese localities in the fields of investment, trade, culture, tourism, etc.
