On November 6, the Final Round Council of the 5th Quang Ninh Provincial Journalism Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) in 2024 met to evaluate the works that entered the final round. Comrade Nguyen Hong Duong, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award, Chairman of the Final Round Council chaired the meeting.
The 2024 Quang Ninh Golden Hammer and Sickle Award has 200 entries in 5 types of journalism, including: Print, Television, Radio, Electronic Newspaper and Press Photo. According to a quick report from the Organizing Committee, the entries basically adhere to the issues identified in the Award Rules; the quality of entries is stable. Many entries adhere to hot issues, outstanding events, key tasks, deeply reflecting current issues of Party building and rectification, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against bad and toxic information, refuting false and hostile arguments on cyberspace...
The content of the works raises new issues in Party building work, which are of interest to public opinion, are of discovery nature, and actively serve the Party building work. This year in particular, the topics of developing Party members among students; youth giving to the Party, keeping the fire of youth; developing the Party in the non-state sector; improving the quality of Party members; Party building in the cultural field, etc. have been of interest.
Some works have reflected new factors, good models, creative ways of doing things, and typical examples of units and localities in the province. There are articles, series of articles, and special topics that accurately - accurately - promptly capture current topics, bring the breath of life; update timely and multi-dimensional information about all areas of the industry or locality... Through the preliminary round, the Jury Subcommittees selected 60 high-quality works to enter the final round. At the meeting, through the report on the preliminary round of the works and the analysis and comments, the Final Jury decided to select and propose to award the Quang Ninh Province Golden Hammer and Sickle Award 2024 to 47 excellent works.
