More than 800 artists gathered at the opening ceremony of National Tourism Year - Hue 2025

The art program to open the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 includes 3 chapters with the message "Confession of the river: Legend of a river; Converging rivers; New flow of rivers" introducing tangible and intangible cultural values, resources and unique tourism products of Vietnam; at the same time, demonstrating the spirit of promoting Hue Festival 2025, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation Day and the rise of Hue city under the Central Government.

This is a special art program staged grandly with the participation and performance of more than 800 actors, singers, famous artists and the masses, along with international art troupes from China, Korea, Uzbekistan, Japan. In particular, the audience will be able to admire new activities such as light shows with drone light flying devices, electronic water drums, water music and dragon and parachute performances.

Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, Director of Hue City Department of Tourism, said: The opening ceremony promises to be not only a typical cultural event but also bring delegates and visitors deep feelings about the cultural beauty of Hue - a sacred land, rich in identity with warm and hospitable people. "Currently, we are urgently completing the infrastructure of the semi-realistic stage on the banks of the Huong River with a stage that can accommodate about 6,000 people. We also expect the opening ceremony with its grand art, sound and light to be the highlight of the National Tourism Year 2025".

National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 with the theme "Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities" with activities and events focusing on 4 main program groups. Specifically, the Spring Festival "Spring of the Ancient Capital", the Summer Festival "Shining Imperial City", the Autumn Festival "Hue in Autumn" and the Winter Festival "Winter of Hue". The opening program of National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 will take place on the evening of March 25 and the closing program will be held at the end of December 2025. Throughout the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 Program, there will be 160 events at the national and provincial levels.
