With more than 700,000 candidates registered for admission on the system as of 12:00 on July 29, the Ministry of Education and Training said that this number increased by about 60,000 compared to the total number of candidates registered for admission in 2023. Since the beginning of the registration period, the system has always operated stably.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, before 5:00 p.m. on July 30, candidates must complete the registration, adjustment, and addition of admission wishes on the System. This year, candidates continue to be able to register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times within the prescribed time.

However, experts say that candidates should not register for too many wishes but should consider and allocate the number of wishes reasonably to the majors they love and majors with high chances of passing to limit the risk of failing all wishes.

“If you register too many, you will be confused and will not know how to arrange your wishes in order and easily confuse the order between your wishes. Not to mention, registering too many wishes will also cause costly admission fees” - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of HigherEducation (Ministry of Education and Training) noted.

Candidates should not wait until the last minute to register. When logging into the System, it is necessary to keep the account confidential to avoid other people logging in, causing disruption to your wishes.

When registering, candidates need to remember to complete the process correctly and completely until the end of the process because then the system will record the registered wishes.

From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates pay the admission fee according to the number of wishes online. To avoid overload, the Ministry of Education and Training has divided it into 6 groups corresponding to specific time frames for provinces to make online payment of fees; there are 17 payment channels to serve candidates.

From July 22 to 5:00 p.m. on July 31, admitted candidates who are eligible for direct admission can confirm their admission on the System; before 5:00 p.m. on August 19, schools will notify admitted candidates of the first round and no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27, all admitted candidates must complete the first round of online admission confirmation on the System.
