More than 551 thousand university entrance candidates have confirmed their enrollment.

After the end of the time for candidates to confirm their admission online for the first round on the University Admission System of the Ministry of Education and Training, according to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of candidates admitted to university in 2024 on the system is 673,586 candidates, the number of candidates who confirmed their admission for the first round is 551,479 candidates, the ratio of admitted candidates/admitted candidates is 81.87%. This year, the whole country has 733,652 candidates registered for university admission.

The Ministry of Education and Training also provided data on candidates confirming admission for the first batch of 2024, along with data compared with 2023, specifically as follows:

Previously, training institutions announced the 2024 university admission scores based on the results of the high school graduation exam and the results of the admission to the university admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training, and announced the first round of admission results according to the general schedule.

After receiving the admission results, before 5:00 p.m. on August 27, candidates must confirm their first round of online admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's University Admissions System.

After this time, from August 28, if the enrollment quota is not met, schools will announce additional enrollment.

From September to December 2024, schools will consider the next admission rounds, update the list of admitted candidates and enroll according to regulations.
