VietNamNetVietNamNet16/11/2023

On the evening of November 16, a representative of Tra Bui commune (Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam province) said that heavy rain caused landslides, isolating 500 households in the area.

Accordingly, the DH8 route from Tra Doc intersection to the center of Tra Bui commune has up to 10 landslides with large volumes causing traffic congestion.

More than 500 households in villages 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the commune were completely isolated. Many places lost power due to landslides. Local authorities have mobilized vehicles to try to clear the route but have not yet been able to reach the isolated area.

This is the only road, so when there is a landslide, all vehicles cannot pass. To access the isolated area, you can only walk or move on the Song Tranh 2 hydroelectric reservoir. Moving on the reservoir is extremely dangerous when floods suddenly come.

According to local authorities, the location is in the danger zone at So Ro peak. There are 147 households here and many landslides have occurred. Because the scene has not been reached, the authorities have implemented the "four on-site" principle of providing human support.

Communication is still smooth, fortunately there has been no loss of life or property.
