More than 35,000 Hanoi union members and students participate in overcoming storm consequences

Responding to the spirit of shock and promoting local volunteer forces, on September 14 and 15, the Youth Union - Student Association of the National Academy of Public Administration coordinated with the Xuan Tao Ward Youth Union (Bac Tu Liem District) to support people in Xuan Tao Ward to clean up fallen trees; sweep the streets, collect garbage...

On September 15, more than 200 volunteer students from Hanoi National University of Education 2 coordinated with local forces to continue participating in volunteer activities in Me Linh district, Long Bien district and Ba Dinh district. The volunteer force was divided into 4 areas, each area mobilized 40 - 50 students to participate in activities.

Despite the hot weather, the volunteer student team still completed the assigned tasks: cutting tree branches, sorting and supporting transportation to the shuttle vehicles of the functional forces; collecting, sorting waste and transporting it to the gathering place. Thereby contributing to ensuring safety for the people; preserving the green - clean - beautiful environment, helping the streets and flower gardens to be bright and radiant.

During the past two weekends (September 14-15), nearly 500 students from the National Economics University participated in street and school cleaning, urban beautification, gift giving and support to families affected by storms in Hanoi, Phu Tho, and Tuyen Quang. In addition to the Youth Union - Student Association teams, there were also many new students of K66 who enthusiastically participated in the activities.

With the spirit of "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth", 21 volunteers from the University of Electricity have coordinated to support flood recovery activities at flooded areas in Dao Thinh commune, Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province. In just 2 days (from September 14 to 15), the students of the school have carried out tasks such as collecting garbage at public places; supporting the transportation of assets, cleaning houses for households; supporting the clearing of roads and sewers in the district...

Also on the morning of September 15, the youth of the University of Electricity sent 70 volunteers to support Co Nhue 1 ward (Bac Tu Liem district) and Thanh Luong ward (Hai Ba Trung district) to clean up many roads with fallen trees after storm No. 3 in Hanoi.

Typhoon Yagi left behind heavy damage to both people and property in Hanoi. Many streets were flooded with garbage and fallen trees. On the morning of September 14, the youth union members and volunteer youth of Hanoi Medical College did not hesitate to work together to collect garbage, fallen trees, mud, etc. to support people in Ba Dinh district to overcome the consequences of typhoon No. 3.

Specific locations such as Van Xuan flower garden, Phan Dinh Phung street, Nguyen Thai Hoc street, Dien Bien ward and Phuc Xa ward were filled with the green shirts of young volunteers, the color of youth and hope.

As for the youth of Thu Do University, to overcome the consequences after the storm caused the roads in Quan Hoa ward (Cau Giay district) to be flooded and filled with garbage, many trees were fallen and broken, on September 14, the university's youth union members and students joined the Quan Hoa ward Youth Union to clean up the streets.

The students did not hesitate to work together to collect garbage, clean up mud and clear sewers, and remove fallen trees in the ward to partially overcome the consequences of the storm.
