From early morning, Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area joyfully welcomed the arrival of Most Venerable Thich Hue Thuong - member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Council of Evidence; Most Venerable Thich Tri Vien - member of the VBS Council of Evidence; Most Venerable Thich Hue Phuoc - Standing Member of the Executive Council, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Propagation Committee; Most Venerable Thich Tu Nghiem, Member of the Executive Council, Head of the Da Nang Buddhist Executive Committee; Most Venerable Thich Minh Thien, Member of the Executive Council, Deputy Head of the Central Propagation Committee; Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Deputy Head of the Da Nang Buddhist Executive Committee, along with monks and nuns of the Propagation Committees of 15 provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
Prayer ceremony at Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda
Coming to Chua Mountain, one of the most sacred and revered mountains in the Central region, the delegation of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha prayed for national peace and prosperity in front of the statue of Buddha Shakyamuni in the Linh Ung Pagoda - one of the most sacred pagodas in Da Nang.
Venerable Thich Tu Nghiem shared: "Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda is a very sacred place because this is where thousands of years of mountains and rivers and the sacred energy of the country converge. When I come here, I clearly feel the spiritual and miraculous response. Coming here is like coming to a world above the clouds."
Here, the delegation of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha also practiced chanting, offered incense and visited the system of spiritual works on the top of Chua Mountain such as Linh Phong Zen Monastery, Linh Phong Bao Thap, Phat Thich Ca Dai, and enjoyed vegetarian dishes prepared by traditional Vietnamese culinary artist - artisan Anh Tuyet.

Also on this occasion, Venerable Thich Hue Phuoc, Venerable Thich Tu Nghiem and Venerable Thich Minh Thien presided over the memorial tree planting ceremony and the ordination ceremony for the "Forever Pine" tree at the spiritual complex of Ba Na peak, with the wish to increase the peaceful energy source for the sacred mountain.
Not only known as a fairyland with a system of high-class entertainment and resort facilities imbued with ancient European colors, Ba Na has long been known as Chua Mountain - the place to worship the Lady of the Upper Realm - the mother who governs the entire sacred mountain region.
Located on the top of Chua Mountain is a complex of sacred spiritual structures. Located on the highest peak of Ba Na, Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple (also known as Mau Thuong Ngan or Lam Cung Thanh Mau) is a place to worship the sacred Lady of the entire mountain region. In the minds of the people of Da Nang, Mau Thuong Ngan is a sacred symbol that is always ready to protect, bless and bestow blessings on the people for generations.
The 27m high statue of Buddha Shakyamuni stands out amidst the majestic mountains and forests.
Besides Linh Chua Linh Tu, the most famous spiritual destination on the top of Chua Mountain is Linh Ung Pagoda. Together with Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda and Linh Ung Ngu Hanh Son Pagoda, Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda forms a famous spiritual "triangle" in Da Nang and attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world to come and worship and sightsee.
Located on a prime location on the mountainside, Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda was restored and embellished after half a century of neglect with the pure Tam-shaped pagoda architecture. With the sacred atmosphere of the mountains and forests and the poetic space, from the pagoda visitors can admire the entire city and the sea 30 km away on clear days.
Located in the Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda grounds is a 27m tall statue of Buddha Sakyamuni, sitting on a 6m high lotus platform. Below the Buddha statue are 8 reliefs depicting the life of Buddha Sakyamuni. On clear days, you can see the reclining Buddha statue towering on top of Ba Na, surrounded by white clouds and majestic mountain scenery.

On the top of Chua Mountain, there are also many famous spiritual destinations such as Ba Temple built during the French period; Linh Phong Thien Tu, also known as Bac Pagoda, built entirely of ironwood in the typical architecture of pagodas in the north; Bell Tower built in Buddhist architectural style, where a 1-ton bronze bell is placed, cast right at the top of Ba Na; Linh Phong Bao Thap is designed with nine floors, each floor has four sides with a white stone statue of Buddha Shakyamuni facing the four directions: east, west, south, north...

Located at an altitude of nearly 1,500m above sea level, the spiritual system on the top of Ba Na Mountain is hidden among the trees and covered with clouds all year round, considered a place where heaven and earth meet, where yin and yang converge. Therefore, Ba Na is known as a famous sacred pilgrimage destination and welcomes thousands of visitors from all over the world to worship, sending wishes for peace and luck, especially at the beginning and end of the year and on traditional Buddhist holidays of the year.
